Delivering on customers’ needs
Certification as part of quality management is not a one-off milestone, but a continuous learning and improvement process. It is about building the right foundation for long-term value that defines our daily work at Sternchemie. As brands and retailers are increasinlgy demanding documented evidence of even stricter non-GMO standards throughout the supply chain, we took action.
Reliable processes – resilient supply chains
Over the past year, we have established robust processes, documented traceability, and clear system separation to reliably deliver ProTerra and non-GMO certified solutions with <0.9 % and <0.1 % Target Threshold Tolerance Level (TTTL) such as our IP soya lecithin range Yellothin. At the same time, we have strengthened our non-GMO verification processes and are continuously preparing our systems for EUDR implementation to support transparent sourcing and regulatory compliance across our supply chain.
Value adding proof of sustainability
At market level, the journey requires commitment, patience, and a clear strategy.
We can provide both ProTerra Traceability Certificates of Compliance (TCC) and non-GMO TCCs with <0.1 % / <0.9 %, supporting that our customers receive traceable, compliant, and verified products. This is particularly relevant for our IP soy lecithin range Yellothin, where certified non-GMO sourcing and transparency are essential. Together with our quality-driven approach, this creates a strong basis for future growth and sustainable supply chains.
As Sven Behrens, Product Manager, highlights:
Quality is our DNA
Looking ahead, our focus remains on continuous improvement, certification renewal, and further integrating sustainable quality management into every step of our doing. Because quality management is not just a requirement – it is a value driver that enables safe, sustainable, and future-proof food production.
