At Sternchemie we’ve got a good reason to celebrate: for our wide range of sunflower lecithins we’ve recently received a “GRAS letter of no objection” from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). GRAS stands for “Generally Recognised As Safe”. With this notification the FDA confirms that our sunflower lecithins, whether liquid, de-oiled or hydrolysed, can be used in many foods without issues.
